 Course Description: This class will explain how Nicole started her design journey. You are safe; there is no blank graph paper involved. In this 2-hour open discussion with participants we will look at how else this pattern could be worked. That is, what other filling stitches could be used instead, are there alternatives for the edge? The handout will help start the discussion and ideas from the session will be captured in a presentation that will be shared with participants afterwards. The bookmark pattern included can be worked later to experiment with the suggestions.

Skill Level: Continuing Beginner

Prerequisite: Could you make the Level "Advanced Beginner"? Knowledge of different motif and ground stitches would be helpful

Students Must Provide:

• Print out the provided notes prior to class.
• Something to take notes
• Optional - Images of Torchon lace patterns you like. This could be marked pages in a book.
• No pillow or bobbins needed
