Instructor: Karen Thompson
Course Description: This heart basket is a traditional Danish decoration usually made in glossy red and white paper, creating a small pocket for candy or other treats. The baskets often have more than two strips. The author Hans Christian Andersen is thought to have designed the first one in the 1860s. This interpretation in Torchon lace includes rose ground and French fans.
