Instructor: Joan Brash
Course Description: Why is the Christmas tree toppling over? It was the cat. This discombobulated tree showcases some inlaid gimps designed and drawn by early Lace Museum member Kay Asahi and published in Exploring Inlay Gimp Variations. With the museum’s permission, we’ll try about three of the gimps from the book in the first session then once you choose your favorite we’ll start the tree in the second session. The cat hiding in the branches can be a bead or charm, available from Joan, or a cat-shaped plait that we’ll make in class.
