Instructor: Susan Lowman
Course Description: Do you have some crochet projects that have come apart or gotten cut, torn, chewed, burned, etc.? Do you want to learn how to professionally repair them so the repairs are invisible? In this class, you’ll learn how to repair many types of crochet projects, from doilies to blankets and everything in between, replacing the “bad or worn” stitches throughout the project. When you’re done, the repairs will be “invisible!” You’ll learn how to replace various stitches, along with chain spaces, in the middle of a row or round, locking the top of the new stitches to the bottom strands of the stitches in the row or round above. Learn how to bring your damaged crochet projects back to life again. This technique also works great to “invisibly” seam the first and last rows in a crochet cowl and to add missing stitches anywhere in a project!
