Course Description: Week 1: Use Turkish tatting techniques to create a dandelion that has gone to seed. We will make the stem, seed ball, and some fluffy seeds using reverse tatting, thrown rings, and floating threads. Week 2: Using reverse tatting and split ring techniques, we will build a woven base in each petal of our flower and create a bouquet of Turkish Reverse Tatted Flowers.
Skill Level: Continuing Beginner, Intermediate
Prerequisite: Comfortable with rings, chains, joins, picots
Dates: 2 Wednesdays - March 11, 25, 2026
Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm PST
Students Must Provide: At least 4 tatting shuttles, 4 balls of thread in size 20, 30, or 40, scissors, safety pins or crochet locking stitch markers.
