Course Description: The book “The Beginning of the End” is a great resource for achieving invisible finishes in bobbin laces. But, it can be difficult to understand! Chapter 3 will practice the detour technique in two Rose grounds, and the Scandinavian ground. The Beginning of the End is complementary to Martina Wolter-Kampmann’s Invisible Starts and Finishes book and courses. Both are essential in my lacemaker’s toolbox.

Skill Level: Continuing Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced

Prerequisite: Beginning of the End Chapters 1&2 classes and own a copy of The Beginning of the End, by Ulrike Lohr (Voelcker)
