Course Description: This course is at the beginner level, but experienced needle lacers will also enjoy this project. You will learn 2 to 3 basic needle lace stitches while making wire-edged petals and leaves for 3D roses or tulips. Patterns for both are provided, and the course also includes techniques for putting the flowers together.

Kit: $10 The kit can be purchased here.
Kit Description: Prepared patterns for roses, tulips and leaves, wire to edge the petals, pink #80 tatting thread to stitch the petals and green for leaves, stem wire and floral tape, stamens for tulip, and instructions. The instructor will mail the kits. Shipping is included. We should be able to mail them outside the US in a simple envelope, or email VirtualWorkshops@thelacemuseum.org to request a full supply list.
Students Must Provide: #24 tapestry needle, small sewing needle, sewing thread, scissors, and wire cutters
