Kit for Milanese Cherries

This is the kit associated with the Milanese Cherries workshop.

Course Description: This sweet pair of cherries builds upon skills learned in the Milanese beginners courses (braids, flame, swirly heart, little bud) and includes a few extra skills to build your knowledge to transfer to working other Milanese designs.

We will refresh skills for starting and working a scroll, using the positioning of the rolled edge to add extra dimension to the piece. We will also discuss and practice adapting a braid to suit a design or shape in a lace pattern.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Prerequisite: Students should have some Milanese experience and/or have completed the beginners (braids, flame, swirly heart, little bud) classes.

Dates: 2 Thursdays - May 15, 22, 2025

Time: 9:00 am – 12:00 noon PDT

Kit Description: The pattern pack includes instructions, working diagrams, the pricking pre-printed onto card, and the specific red and green threads. (Students not in North America can buy the pack from the UK. We will contact you with instructions.)
