Kit for Bedfordshire Carnation

This is the kit to accompany the Bedfordshire Carnation workshop.

Course Description: This design is a “floral Beds” design and involves adding and throwing out pairs frequently. It is a design that uses traditional floral techniques and vertical, horizontal and diagonal boxed veins.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Prerequisite: Some experience needed in Bedfordshire floral techniques.

Dates: 3 Wednesdays – June 17, 24; July 8, 2026

Kit Description: The kit is a laser-cut, ready-to-work pricking with the pattern sheet.

Students Must Provide: Finca 60 thread or equivalent (38 wpc), approximately 70 pairs of bobbins. Wind a lot on one bobbin of each pair to allow quick rewinding after throwing out for adding back in.
