Kit for A 12-Hour Intro to Bobbin Lace

This is an optional kit for the A 12-Hour Introduction to Bobbin Lace Workshop. Students are welcome to use their own supplies.

Kit includes: • An 18 or 20-inch firm cookie pillow, covered • 12 pairs of bobbins (24 bobbins) • 6 colors of DMC Perle 8 thread • Lacemaking pins. It is important they are all the same size • Pincushion • Bobbin holder for 12 pairs of bobbins • Two cover cloths (clean dishtowels will work) • Pricker or pricking vice with needle • Pusher/puller for pushing in or pulling out pins • 4-6 corsage or divider pins • An approximately 16-inch square of non-skid shelf liner for securing a lightweight pillow • The 45-page richly illustrated curriculum printed in loose-leaf format with the patterns and instructions • The patterns' “prickings” printed on light grey, blue or green 90 to 110 lbs. weight cardstock
