Instructor: Máire Treanor Máire lives in Clones, Ireland and has been researching and designing Clones Irish Crochet Lace since the late 1980s. Her book ‘Clones Lace: the story and patterns of an Irish Crochet’ is available in our online shop but is not required for this workshop.
Course Description: This workshop is for anyone who has learned the basic stitches of Clones Lace covered in the beginner class with Máire: single crochet, double crochet, slip stitch, chain, the Clones knot and how to use packing cord We will explore a new motif each week.
Week 1 - small roses and wild roses, Week 2 - leaves and scrolls Week 3 - motifs together and start filling Week 4 - small vines or ivy leaves
